Boise Art Glass is Boise, Idaho’s only Glassblowing Studio and Gallery open to the public. We offer classes, supplies, torch/furnace rentals, custom orders, and demonstrations.
Our Gallery features many fine works from 15 different artists varying from fused glass, borosilicate, and furnace blown glass. All which are available for purchase in the gallery.
As a gallery and studio you are able to watch us create while viewing the existing artwork or you can schedule a free demonstration for a group of people. If you can’t find that something you are looking for in the gallery or on the website, we can also create a custom piece with your inspiration as our guide.
We are members of the Downtown Boise’s Association, and participate in the First Thursday Art Walk and are open late the first Thursday of every month. From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM we host free demonstrations or short workshops open to the public.
Our studio consists of 6 torchwork stations for classes and daily rentals, 5 private stations for monthly rentals in torchwork, and a hot shop available for teaching classes in the furnace or renting shop time. We also sell borosilicate color and clear glass frit, rod and tubes.
